Third Petition - August 2003 - August 2006
After the 2nd Petition was rejected, the Attorney-General explained his actions in the Parliament.
Upon realising that his reasons for rejecting the Petition were in error, Mr Keogh's lawyers submitted this Third Petition,
asking that the Second Petition be re-considered .

Submissions to the Solicitor-General in relation to the Petitions
The Third Petition was referred to the Solicitor-General Mr Chris Kourakis.
It became necessary to supplement the complaints in the Second Petition with extensive and detailed further submissions
See the very extensive submissions which have been made in support of the Petition.
It took the Solicitor-General a further 3 years before recommending that the Petition be rejected
Compare this with the Petition of Frits Van Beelen who had his Petition considered within a few weeks and dealt with by the Court within three months.
