ISJR program committee,

We have received your rejection of our submission for the conference program, dealing with miscarriages of justice in South Australia

You will appreciate that at the current time, one of the former Chief Forensic Pathologists in South Australia has been censured by the Medical Board of South Australia for unprofessional conduct - now subject to appeal - see "Keogh homepage" above. At the same time, another former Chief Forensic Pathologist in South Australia has been the subject of a formal complaint by the Medical Board of South Australia to the Medical Tribunal in relation to his own unprofessional conduct. I think that this must be a situation without parallel in any of the common law countries.

Two of the contributors to the conference session were commissioned by the Commission in Canada to prepare and submit an expert report to it. One of the other contributors was the former Chief Examiner the Chair of the Board of Censors for the Royal College of Pathology of Australasia. His affidavit in respect of the Keogh case can be found here One of the contributors is the leading journalist in South Australia who has broadcast many programs on this issue. We think that it would be unfortunate if the delegates to this prestigious conference were not given the opportunity to become aware of the appalling situation which has developed in South Australia, and the miscarriages of justice which have occurred here.

We have therefore set up the following books on this web site:
Go here for - "A State of Injustice"
Go here for "Losing Their Grip - The Case of Henry Keogh"
We will also arrange for demonstrations to occur at each of the conference, with pamphlets to be distributed to those attending.

We are putting further questions to the South Australian parliament, to seek the setting up of a Royal Commission on these issues.
